Adolfo Caetano Netto lives in Paraná, a brazilian province. He lives at Pato Branco town. There, he makes his scale ships. It is incredible to think their ships are made from cardboard, not wooden ones... He uses a series of cardboard sheets that are glued one on the other to mimic the ship wooden walls. He uses cotton rags, several cotton yarn wheights, cardboard and wooden sticks to make their models. Adolfo uses their own technical background to make their models. Below you can see the two models he shot with their digital camera: Santa Maria. This is the 1492 Cristóvão Colombo's Santa Maria Spanish Ship. The wooden like walls were made from cardboard sheets glued one over the other. Roman Trirreme This ship was not finished at the picture taken time. This will be a Roman Trirreme!
